Women Producers

The Women Coffee Producers Program helps women from around the world gain better access to the coffee market. By attaining to guidelines and parameters set forth by Cafe Imports, the women are paid a premium per pound for their coffee. The higher price represents a step towards eliminating the inequity that women face in coffee-growing countries. The women chose to use the funds on community projects, education and school efforts, and health care issues that face their communities.
