Our peaches and nectarines are awake now and full of blossoms. The bees are hard at work doing their job. But we live in Missouri so we might still have some late April/early May frosts to deal with. Peaches and Nectarines are the first to wake up after the long winter but they are also the most at risk for frost damage if the temps dip below 28 degrees. At >28 degrees, we could lose up to 90% of the fruit. AGAIN! Please send us warm thoughts and prayers.
